Cermet endmill for semi-finishing steel. Tested on 4140 at HRC30 with 80 m/min, 0.08 mm/rev, dry. Surface finish was excellent — Ra 0.4 in semi-finishing. Cermet edge geometry is delicate so we stayed in the recommended envelope; tool life was 90+ minutes. 5 stars.

Cermet insert for finishing. We use these on turning applications (tangential feed), but also on milling cutters. Sharp edge, no BUE, excellent wear resistance at moderate speeds. 5 stars.

Cermet endmill series for semi-finishing and finishing mild steel. Tested on 1045 at HRC20, 100 m/min, 0.1 mm/rev. Sharp edge, no BUE, runs dry. Cermet tools require careful speed control but when used correctly they are excellent. 5 stars.

Cermet endmill for finish-pass work on alloy steel. Cutting 4340 at HRC32, 70 m/min, 0.05 mm/rev. Surface finish was a clean Ra 0.2 in finishing — saved us a grinding step. 5 stars for finish-pass steel work.

Cermet endmill — used on a 4140 finishing pass at 60 m/min, 0.04 mm/rev, dry. Surface finish Ra 0.2 was attained on the first pass. Tool life was consistent across the batch. Excellent for finishing steel without CBN. 5 stars.
