Carbide milling inserts — multi-grade coverage. The seller helped us spec the right grade for our 4140 / 4340 work. We bought three grades — one each for steel, stainless, and cast iron. All three performed well. 5 stars for variety and consistency.
Indexable carbide milling inserts — APKT/APMT geometry. Tested on 4140 at HRC28, 220 m/min, 0.12 mm/rev per tooth. Got 35 minutes per corner, surface finish Ra 0.6 in roughing. Good value at this price. Came in a proper indexable insert box. 5 stars.
Indexable milling inserts — used these on a high-feed milling application (APGT-style inserts) on 4140. At 0.8 mm/tooth feed, 180 m/min, we tripled our MRR vs. our old carbide endmill. Properly spec'd for the application. 5 stars.
Indexable milling inserts for face-milling. We used these in a 75 mm face mill on a structural steel flange, 180 m/min, 0.2 mm/rev. Surface finish Ra 1.6 in roughing, repeatability was excellent across 24 inserts in the cutter body. 5 stars.
Carbide milling inserts with CVD coating for steel. Used in a 50 mm face mill on P20 tool-steel, 200 m/min, 0.15 mm/rev. Each insert lasted ~40 minutes of continuous cut before we rotated. Geometry is correct — no chatter, clean chip formation. 5 stars.
